South Hadley, a town with a strong women’s college, voted for Clinton.

Northampton, a town with a strong women’s college, voted for Obama?

Looking over the primary map of Massachusetts, I’m a bit puzzled.   The Pioneer Valley would be obviously immune from the Kennedy endorsement, given that the Kennedys don’t venture past I-95, and Clinton recently visited Springfield.  But there is a stark divide in the valley between supporters of both candidates.  And the thing that seems to divide them is the Mt. Holyoke Range.  Even stranger, the divide works with Republicans as well.

(No, I won’t buy any crap about class, race or education to explain this.)
